DFM Mini Weather Station
The DFM Mini Weather Station allows you to measure temperatures, relative humidity and rainfall.
It is a cheaper alternative to the Davis weather stations. It doesn't come with all the bells and whistles, but provides you with all the important basics.
A handy feature is the ability to have automated SMS set up when a certain maximum or minimum temperature is reached. This can help with avoiding frost damage.
Compatibility with DFM Products
The DFM Mini Weather Station can be linked to the following DFM Software packages:
- Probe Utilities (when using Radio)
- Weather Web Data application (when using GPRS)
Davis Weather Station
It comes with a display console that displays real-time climate information. The console also calculates evaporation, heat index, dew point, rain rate and wind chill, time of sunrise and sunset and moon phase.
It has a frequent data update interval of every 2.5 seconds. Climate information is stored on the display console and can be downloaded to the software provided which includes various climate-forecasting models. There is no need to connect to the internet.
Repeaters can also be added to the station if long-range transmission is required. Implementation of the station is easy and affordable.
